Student Assessment System
Our school follows a structured and comprehensive student assessment system tailored to different academic levels. Assessments are designed to evaluate not only academic knowledge but also cognitive skills, creativity, and overall development.
Nursery (Pre-KG to UKG)
At the nursery level, assessments are informal and focus on a child’s overall growth, including social, emotional, and motor skill development. Teachers evaluate students through observation, interactive activities, and play-based learning. Basic language, numerical skills, and creativity are assessed through storytelling, coloring, and group activities.
Pre-Primary (Class 1 & 2)
In pre-primary classes, students are assessed on their communication skills, early literacy, and numeracy. Regular worksheets, oral assessments, and interactive classroom participation help track their progress. Teachers also monitor fine motor skills, cognitive abilities, and social interactions.
Primary (Class 3 to 5)
For primary students, assessments include class tests, assignments, project work, and oral presentations. Both formative (quizzes, daily observations) and summative (mid-term and final exams) assessments are conducted to evaluate their grasp of subjects. Emphasis is placed on conceptual understanding and skill development.
Higher Primary (Class 6 to 8)
In higher primary classes, students undergo more structured assessments, including written examinations, subject-based projects, and practical applications of concepts. Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and extracurricular activities are also considered in performance evaluations. Regular parent-teacher meetings ensure continuous improvement and academic growth.
High School (Class 9 & 10)
In high school, assessments become more rigorous to prepare students for board examinations and higher education. The evaluation process includes periodic tests, pre-board exams, practical assessments, and project-based learning. Students are also assessed on analytical and critical thinking skills, as well as time management in exam settings. Special coaching sessions, career guidance programs, and remedial classes are provided to help students excel in their academic performance.
This well-rounded assessment approach ensures a balanced evaluation, fostering academic excellence and holistic student development.
